The Challenge
RENU, a social initiative by Barnabus, runs furniture renovation workshops that help people affected by homelessness rebuild their confidence and skills. As a fledgling brand operating in a crowded space of charities and secondhand furniture sellers, it needed a distinctive identity and campaign to raise awareness and communicate its deeper human impact.
The Solution
I led the creative development of a brand campaign that positioned RENU around transformation, of both furniture and lives. The visual identity and tone of voice were built to reflect this dual restoration, celebrating the craftsmanship, care and personal growth that happen in the workshop. Through warm, characterful storytelling and design, we highlighted the humanity behind each item and the potential unlocked in each individual. The result was a campaign that gave RENU a clear, emotionally resonant presence, helping it stand out and connect with audiences on a meaningful level.
