Xolair is an injectable prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe persistent asthma in young patients.

The ask
Previous information and log materials lacked personality and didn’t resonate with children. We were tasked with updating the treatment materials using relevant insights and create concepts that young asthma patients could relate to.

The solution
Using insights from workshops, we created 'Own Your Story'. Taking inspiration from relevant social media platforms, owning your story is something positive and visually relatable for young adults. After providing a clear concept with art direction, I commissioned local illustrator Tash Willcocks to create a style resembling social media stickers that people use on their ‘digital stories’ on a daily basis, keeping the content relevant and engaging. Each page creates engagement by tailoring each illustration around the pages subject matter.
